What we collect
When you apply: your name, email, phone number, city and state, and your answers to the application questions. We also record the IP address and browser the application was submitted from, to detect spam.
When you join the email list: your email address and, optionally, your first name.
If you become a member: your mailing address, identity documents, your signed representative agreement, and a record of every vehicle you purchase. Payment card details are handled entirely by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
How we use it
To review your application, follow up with you about it, register you as an authorized representative with auction houses, bill your subscription, track package compliance, and — if you opted in — send you marketing emails.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with the service providers that make this work: Supabase (database and file storage), Stripe (payments), Resend (email) and Vercel (hosting). We share your name and identification with auction houses as required to register you as a representative. We may disclose information where required by law.
Marketing email
Marketing emails are opt-in and every one contains an unsubscribe link. Unsubscribing stops marketing email but not transactional messages about your application, account or billing.
How we protect it
Identity documents and signed agreements are kept in private storage and are reachable only through short-lived signed links. Database access is restricted per-account so members can only ever read their own records.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Email ssimflips@gmail.com. Note that we must retain certain purchase and dealer records for the period required by Georgia law, even after you cancel.
Children
This service is for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
